Electrical Engineering (Mission)

The mission of the Electrical Engineering Department is to provide high quality and effective education in the field of Electrical engineering; Materialize the partnership with industry by meeting the ever changing needs of the market for future engineers; Immunize the students with knowledge and experience in their field of specialization to contribute in the making of professional leaders. 

The department offers three programs in the field of Bio-Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, and Control Engineering. The goal of the offered programs are to provide the community with graduates capable of effectively using relevant scientific and technical knowledge in various aspects of Engineering and healthcare fields.

The mission of the department is to offer student’s high-quality, up-to-date, nationally recognized programs; that prepare them for successful careers marked by a commitment to lifelong learning and a deep concern for the impact of their work on others. Also, advance frontiers of technical and scientific knowledge through research to serve their professional and civic communities.

The bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering programs (Bio-Electronics Engineering Communications Engineering, and Control Engineering) offers a highly structured plan mainly during the first four semesters and a relatively flexible two during the last four semesters. This is achieved by offering an assortment of elective courses during the senior phase that will further shape the student’s readiness to serve in real-life employment tracks. The programs provides both laboratory-based curriculum that combines hands-on practice with the appropriate basic Communications Engineering,  Control engineering and Bio-Electronics engineering theories, as well as clinical engineering basics necessary for upgrading the healthcare sector.
