Electrical Engineering (Goals and Objective)

Our students should be able to:

1.    Apply scientific knowledge and engineering design principles to contribute usefully to society by developing biomedical technology needed for the upgrade and maintenance of the national healthcare system 

2.    Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions

3.    Developing high communication skills, and emphasizing professional attitudes and ethics, so that graduates are prepared for complicated under stress work environments and lifelong learning.

4.    Design and implement elements, modules, sub-systems or systems using technological and professional tools.

5.    Identify needs, plan and manage resources, and gather information for solving a specific electrical/electronic problem and document and communicate this solution efficiently.

6.    Estimate and measure the performance of an electrical/electronic system and circuit under specific input excitation and evaluate its suitability for a specific application.

7.    Have a strong foundation and understanding of the fundamental knowledge in, Electronic circuits, Electronic data storage, High-speed performance computing, Communications, Signal processing, propagation and antenna’s optoelectronics, optical communication, mobile and satellite communication, system automation, automatic control and monitoring systems, circuit analysis, network analysis, digital signal processing, and microprocessors.
